Democrats Must Go Low: Is It Too Late?
The 2024 election results signal the demise of the Obama coalition, demanding a drastic shift in Democratic strategy. Democrats must adopt a more aggressive, combative approach, mirroring the tactics employed by the successful Republican cultural warriors. This includes a more muscular messaging strategy and a refusal to cooperate with Republicans on legislative matters, even at the cost of short-term political pain. Crucially, Democrats must abandon the pretense of comity with Republicans and unequivocally reject the normalization of Trump’s presidency.
