Federal agents, alongside the NYPD’s Internal Affairs Bureau, executed search warrants at multiple locations, including the home of former NYPD Chief of Department Jeffrey Maddrey, as part of a joint investigation into allegations of sexual harassment and extortion. Maddrey, who resigned after being accused of demanding sexual favors from a subordinate in exchange for overtime opportunities, denies any wrongdoing, claiming a consensual relationship. These actions follow similar investigations into other high-ranking NYPD officials and are part of a broader inquiry into alleged misconduct within the department. The Manhattan District Attorney’s office is also involved in investigating these serious allegations.

Jeffrey Maddrey’s lawyer admitted to a consensual relationship between Maddrey and Lt. Quathisha Epps, but denied claims of quid pro quo sexual harassment. The lawyer alleges Epps initiated the relationship and is deflecting from an ongoing overtime pay investigation. This admission contradicts previous denials and further fuels ongoing investigations into the matter.

I watched the recently released NYPD bodycam footage of the police shooting incident at the Brooklyn subway platform, and my mind is filled with a whirlwind of emotions and thoughts. The video shows two officers opening fire, resulting in the injury of multiple people, including innocent bystanders, all stemming from an individual brandishing a knife. As I watched the events unfold, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of disbelief and shock at the level of escalation that took place.
The suspect, Mickles, clearly displayed aggressive behavior, refusing to comply with the officers’ repeated commands to drop the knife. Even after attempts to use non-lethal force, such as Tasers, failed to subdue him, the situation quickly spiraled out of control.… Continue reading
The news that the NYPD is preparing to revoke Donald Trump’s license to carry a gun after his felony conviction in New York is not only expected but also necessary. Let’s face it, does anyone really believe that Trump has ever actually used a firearm? If you handed him a loaded gun at a firing range, he would probably break every gun safety rule within seconds. His track record with firearms is so unimpressive that even his staunchest supporters, the MAGA crowd, would have a hard time trusting him with a gun.
The fact that Trump even has a custom .45, which he most likely didn’t purchase after being indicted, is concerning enough.… Continue reading
New Videos Contradict NYPD Account of Lead-Up to Times Square Attack on Cops
It’s both disheartening and infuriating to see that even with the presence of body cameras, police officers still lie about what actually happens during altercations. It makes me wonder just how often they lied before these cameras became a requirement. It’s a broken record, but something needs to change.
One thing that strikes me is the fact that when a civilian says something happened and it turns out not to be true, it’s considered a lie. But when a police officer does the same, it’s often labeled as “video contradicts” or “accounts vary.”… Continue reading
