Recent reports indicate that Russia may be planning to put a nuclear weapon into space, a clear violation of the 1967 Outer Space Treaty. This treaty, signed by every country capable of space travel, prohibits the placement of nuclear weapons in space. Yet, if Russia goes ahead with this plan, they will act with impunity, knowing that the Trump administration has their backs.
