Trump Offers Phone Line As Iran Turns to Russia
It seems there’s a bit of a diplomatic dance happening, and the choreography is, to put it mildly, unconventional. On one hand, we have a rather surprising invitation from the U.S. president to Iran: if they want to talk, they should just pick up the phone. This comes at a time when the ongoing pause in hostilities, or whatever we’re calling it, seems to be hinging on the very idea of serious negotiations.
