As a parent of three young children, I cannot fathom the heart-wrenching pain and unimaginable grief that the mother and father of the 3-year-old boy who was tragically murdered at the North Olmsted Giant Eagle are experiencing. The senseless and horrific nature of this crime shakes me to my core, as it hits close to home – a reminder that tragedy can strike anywhere, at any time, even in what we perceive to be safe spaces.
