Olympia Becomes First Washington City to Offer Polyamory Protections

This move follows similar legislation advanced in Portland, with organizers now pushing for protections in other Washington cities like Tacoma and Seattle, with the ultimate goal of achieving state-level anti-discrimination measures. These efforts aim to combat stigma and discrimination that individuals in consensual nonmonogamous relationships often face in areas such as housing, employment, and healthcare.
