Conversely, Hezbollah, reiterated its unwavering resistance against Israel, demanding Israeli withdrawal and the fulfillment of prior agreements before considering further negotiations. Salam’s appointment, viewed as a setback for Hezbollah, underscores the ongoing tensions between the Lebanese government and the Iran-backed group.
