Colorado teen shot in the face after trying to ask for permission to take photos at property, police say
I cannot fathom the horror and disbelief that must have gripped those teenage boys as they were confronted by a man wielding a gun, innocent and unsuspecting. The mere act of requesting permission to take photos on someone else’s property should not provoke such a violent and senseless response. It is a tragedy that highlights the dangers of irresponsible gun ownership and the consequences that can arise when individuals feel emboldened by a false sense of power.
