I woke up this morning, like any other day, and scrolled through the news on my phone. Little did I know that my day was about to take a dark turn when I stumbled upon a headline that left me utterly horrified – the ringleader of a global monkey torture network, self-proclaimed as ‘The Torture King’, has been charged. How does one even begin to comprehend the existence of such a sickening network, let alone a person who takes pleasure in inflicting pain and suffering on innocent animals?
