Supreme Court Gutted Voting Rights Act in Devastating Blow to Minority Representation

The Supreme Court’s recent actions regarding the Voting Rights Act have left many deeply concerned, with some viewing it as a significant rollback of progress made over decades. The core of the issue lies in a recent 6-3 decision, authored by Justice Samuel Alito, which reportedly alters how states are held accountable for actions that disenfranchise minority voters.
