Laura Ingraham: ‘If you know Minnesota-and I know it well- especially Milwaukee – it’s changed!’

Laura Ingraham never fails to surprise me with her lack of basic knowledge about geography. Her recent blunder, confusing Milwaukee with Minnesota, left me shaking my head in disbelief. As a proud resident of Minneapolis, I can confidently say that the city has indeed changed, but not in the way Ingraham would have her viewers believe.

The comments and reactions to Ingraham’s mix-up only highlight the absurdity of her statement. People from all corners of the country chimed in, pointing out the obvious error in her geographical knowledge. From Los Angeles to Phoenix, the consensus was clear – Milwaukee is in Wisconsin, not Minnesota.… Continue reading

DNC launches Milwaukee billboards with Trump ‘horrible’ city comment

The recent launch of billboards in Milwaukee by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) featuring President Trump’s disparaging remarks about the city has sparked a wave of reactions and conversations. The billboards prominently display Trump’s face alongside the bold statement, “Milwaukee, where we are having our convention, is a horrible city,” a comment attributed to Donald J. Trump. This move by the DNC is a strategic and bold response that aims to highlight Trump’s divisive and inflammatory rhetoric, especially in light of the upcoming presidential election.

The decision to put up these billboards is a clear attempt to shed light on the President’s controversial statements and hold him accountable for his words.… Continue reading

Trump Weighs in on Milwaukee Flub and Somehow Makes It Even Worse

Trump, the ex-president, the self-proclaimed crusader against crime, the man who has his own laundry list of legal troubles weighing on his shoulders, has once again managed to take a situation and make it even worse. This time, his target is the city of Milwaukee. A city that, like many others, has its own set of issues, but to have Trump, a convicted criminal himself, weigh in on the matter only adds insult to injury.

The irony of a man with a laundry list of legal troubles, awaiting sentencing for multiple felonies, and facing trial for countless more, talking about crime in a city like Milwaukee is almost comical if it weren’t so concerning.… Continue reading

Republicans in Panic Mode After Trump Trashes Milwaukee

As a Wisconsinite who has lived in and around Milwaukee for the last 20 years, I can’t help but shake my head at the recent news of Republicans being in a panic after Trump trashed the city. The explanations put forward for his comments are indeed comical. From claims that he was referring to crime rates, to election integrity, to a supposed lack of a First Amendment zone, the excuses seem to be all over the place. It’s clear that they need to get their story straight, which reflects the chaotic nature of the current Republican party.

The fact that Trump, a former Republican president, would criticize a city in Wisconsin, a swing state that he narrowly lost in the 2020 election, is not surprising.… Continue reading

Donald Trump calls Milwaukee, host for the 2024 RNC, ‘a horrible city’

It’s truly disheartening to see the former president of the United States refer to a city as “horrible”, especially when that city is slated to host the 2024 Republican National Convention. Donald Trump’s recent comment about Milwaukee is not only disrespectful but also indicative of his lack of class and empathy. As a resident of Milwaukee, I take personal offense to his derogatory remarks about a city that holds a special place in my heart.

Milwaukee, known for its vibrant culture, friendly people, and rich history, is anything but “horrible”. From the bustling breweries to the stunning lakefront views, this city exudes charm and character.… Continue reading

Woman says her Kia has been stolen 3 times, even after the security upgrade

I own an older Kia, and I have to admit that I often worry about it being stolen. The thought of it being found damaged and in terrible condition is something I would rather not think about. But then I came across the story of a woman whose Kia has been stolen not once, not twice, but three times, even after a security upgrade. It made me question the effectiveness of these security measures and the safety of owning a Kia.

According to the Milwaukee police, there have been 308 vehicle thefts so far in 2024, with 64 of them being Kias.… Continue reading
