I find it utterly baffling how the controversy surrounding Trump’s visit to Arlington National Cemetery continues to escalate. The fact that he dare characterize himself as a victim in this situation is beyond comprehension. He has insulted the military, disrespected fallen soldiers, and tarnished the sanctity of a place meant for honoring our country’s heroes. His campaign team’s response, calling the office of the Army Secretary a bunch of “hacks,” only adds fuel to the fire.

As a veteran, I am utterly disgusted and appalled by Trump’s recent controversial photo op at Arlington National Cemetery. This man’s complete lack of respect for the sacrifices made by our fallen heroes is not only disrespectful but downright despicable. How can anyone, especially those who served in the military, continue to support a man who sees our sacred institutions as nothing more than props for his own political gain?
