Body of Missing Girl Melodee Buzzard Found; Sparking Calls for Child Protection Reform
Ashlee Buzzard was arrested and accused in the death of her 9-year-old daughter, Melodee, whose body was discovered in Utah. Investigators found substantial evidence indicating Buzzard murdered her daughter, who died from gunshot wounds. The investigation revealed a calculated and premeditated plan, including a road trip from California to Nebraska and the use of a wig and altered license plates to avoid detection.
