Father Charged with Murder After Canadian Girl Found Dead in NY: Amber Alert Falsified
Authorities in New York have arrested Luciano Frattolin, a Montreal resident, and charged him with second-degree murder and concealment of a human corpse in connection to the death of his nine-year-old daughter, Melina Frattolin. The investigation began after a report of the child’s disappearance near Lake George, New York, where the pair were on vacation and due to return to Canada. Following inconsistencies in the father’s account, police found Melina’s body in a pond. Frattolin’s arrest occurred after surveillance placed the father and daughter together the day of her death.
