Trump’s Former Spiritual Advisor Indicted on Child Sex Charges
Robert Morris, a Dallas-area pastor with significant ties to the Republican Party and President Trump, has been indicted in Oklahoma on five counts of lewd or indecent acts to a child, stemming from alleged abuse in the 1980s. The indictment follows allegations by Cindy Clemishire, who claims Morris abused her beginning when she was twelve years old. Morris, who resigned from his megachurch pastorship last year amid sexual abuse allegations, faces a court trial and is presumed innocent until proven guilty. This is the sixth instance of a Texas megachurch pastor resigning due to sexual assault or misconduct claims since 2024.
