Microplastics have been making their insidious mark in the most intimate of places – our body. A recent study has found that every human semen sample tested contained microplastics, shedding light on the pervasive nature of this environmental pollutant. As I grapple with this unsettling revelation, it’s hard not to draw parallels between this contemporary crisis and historical disasters like lead poisoning. The fact that we are now 3D printers of sorts, unknowingly expelling microplastics with every orgasm, is a bitter pill to swallow.
