It’s hard to believe this kind of archaic thinking still exists in our society today. As I sit here reflecting on the recent clash between a CNN anchor and a GOP lawmaker over the Louisiana Ten Commandments bill, I can’t help but feel a well of frustration bubbling inside me. The blatant attempts to push a specific religious agenda in public schools under the guise of historical significance is not only disheartening but also a flagrant violation of the separation of church and state.
