The DNC crowd roaring ‘Lock Him Up’ as Hillary Clinton slammed felon Trump was a moment that I never knew I needed. It’s like a cathartic release to see someone who has faced so much unjust negativity and propaganda finally get a moment to bask in the sweet justice of it all. Love her or hate her, you have to admit that Hillary Clinton knows how to deliver a powerful speech. She was on fire that night, and the fact that Trump and his cronies will undoubtedly go on a tirade against her only proves that she hit a nerve.

As I witnessed the crowd chanting “Lock Him Up” during Kamala Harris’ campaign debut, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction wash over me. The sheer audacity of convicted felon Trump to run for office to avoid prison is truly astounding. It’s not every day that a criminal convicted by a jury of his peers is parading around trying to evade justice. The fact that his sentencing is looming on September 18th only adds to the irony of the situation. If I were in Kamala’s shoes, I’d be grinning from ear to ear as well.
