Idaho Bans Pride Flags, Boise Responds With Pride Wraps

Boise has found a way to display Pride symbolism on City Hall after a new law prohibited official Pride flags. Following the governor’s signing of a bill banning non-governmental flags, including the Pride flag, Mayor Lauren McLean ordered its removal. In response, the city has installed vinyl wraps in Pride flag colors on the flagpoles and hung a large sign reading “Creating a city for everyone” with a Progress Pride rainbow on the building’s facade.
