As I read the appalling news about the apartment complex billing a deceased woman $15,000 for breaking her lease, I couldn’t help but shake my head in disbelief. The sheer audacity and lack of empathy displayed by these landlords is truly disturbing. It seems that in the world of corporate greed, human decency and compassion have taken a back seat.

The family, understandably outraged by this heartless act, should not hesitate to stand up to the complex and tell them to go find their money in the afterlife.
