This group, now designated as a terrorist entity in Canada, relies on temporary foreign workers and students in Canada to conduct violent acts, often demanding payment via WhatsApp. The gang’s tactics have evolved, with a recent split causing some members to engage in shootings without prior extortion demands, and copycat groups have also emerged. Deportations are a primary tool being used against these groups, with hundreds of investigations opened and removal orders issued.
