Kroger CEO Resigns Amidst Investigation into Personal Conduct

Rodney McMullen, Kroger’s Chairman and CEO, resigned following an internal investigation into his personal conduct, unrelated to the company’s financial performance or operations. Ronald Sargent, a long-time board member with extensive experience in the grocery industry, will serve as interim CEO and chairman.
