Kentucky state Sen. Johnnie Turner dies after plunging into empty swimming pool on lawn mower

Kentucky state Sen. Johnnie Turner’s tragic accident, which resulted in his death after riding his lawn mower into an empty swimming pool, leaves a complex array of emotions and reflections swirling in my mind.
