US Military Refueling Plane Crashes in Iraq Crew Status Unknown
A U.S. military KC-135 Stratotanker crashed in western Iraq near the Iraqi-Jordanian border on Thursday during Operation Epic Fury. While recovery efforts are underway and the crew’s status remains unknown, a second Stratotanker involved in the same incident sustained damage but landed safely.
