As I sat down to watch Katie Britt’s response to Joe Biden’s State of the Union address, I never could have anticipated just how disastrous it would turn out to be. The Republican senator, touted as a rising star within her party, seemed to struggle with authenticity from the moment she began speaking. Her attempts to convey a sense of emotion felt contrived and forced, leading me to wonder whether she was simply bad at public speaking, knowingly spreading falsehoods, or perhaps even a complete psychopath.
