Republicans baffled by Katie Britt’s State of the Union response: ‘One of our biggest disasters’
I was truly taken aback by Katie Britt’s State of the Union response. As a Republican myself, I found her delivery and content to be completely out of touch and frankly embarrassing. The fact that she voted against a border bill that she helped negotiate and then proceeded to blame Biden for border issues is hypocritical at best. Her use of a horrific story about a woman being sex trafficked as a prop to further her political agenda was distasteful and insensitive.
Watching her speech, I couldn’t help but feel like I was in some dystopian future where women are relegated back to the role of Stepford wives, only allowed to express fear and concern about the state of the world from the confines of a kitchen.… Continue reading
