As I sit here reading the outrageous suggestion made by a Washington Post columnist that Biden should replace Kamala Harris with Hillary Clinton, I can’t help but shake my head in disbelief. The idea is not only foolish but also detrimental to the Democratic Party’s chances in the upcoming election.
It’s clear that the columnist’s suggestion is impractical and ill-advised on so many levels. The thought of replacing Harris, a competent and capable woman of color, with Clinton, a seasoned politician who has already faced defeat in a presidential election, is mind-boggling. As I read the news about Kamala Harris calling for marijuana to be rescheduled as quickly as possible, I can’t help but wonder what took so long for this issue to come to the forefront. The fact that marijuana is currently classified in the same dangerous category as heroin is not only absurd but also patently unfair. It’s time to address this discrepancy and make the necessary changes to allow for the rescheduling of marijuana.
