It’s not every day that you hear about a Republican speaking at the Democratic National Convention, but that’s exactly what’s happening this week. Former GOP Rep. Adam Kinzinger is set to take the stage on Thursday, the same night Vice President Kamala Harris will be giving her keynote speech. Peter Navarro, a former Trump White House official, has been dealt a blow by the Supreme Court. The highest court rejected his bid to remain free while he appeals his conviction for defying a subpoena from the Jan. 6 select committee. It is time for Prison Mike to face the consequences of his actions. The fact that Navarro thought he could escape prison shows a sense of entitlement and privilege that is all too common among the wealthy and powerful.
