It truly baffles me when I hear about the things that come out of Trump’s mouth at his rallies. The fact that he wants an ‘Iron Dome’ over America is not only preposterous but showcases his lack of understanding of basic defense systems. The Iron Dome is actually a metaphor for a missile defense system, not a physical dome made of iron. It’s both amusing and terrifying that he may actually believe in the idea of constructing a literal iron dome over the continental United States.
