‘13 of 15 non-Russians in military unit dead’: Indians seek return
I can’t help but feel a sense of bewilderment and disbelief as I read about the plight of the Indians who were misled into joining the Russian military unit and now find themselves caught in the crossfire of a war they have no personal stake in. The fact that “13 of 15 non-Russians in the military unit are dead” speaks volumes about the callous disregard for human life exhibited by those who lured these individuals into a deadly trap.
It’s disheartening to see how these men were promised one thing – the job of a security guard in Russia – only to be thrust into the horrors of a battlefield in Ukraine.… Continue reading
