The recent revelation that Israel troops continue to post abuse footage online despite a pledge to act is not only disappointing but deeply troubling. As a former and serving Israeli soldier myself, I understand the culture within the military that often dehumanizes Palestinians, treating them as mere targets rather than human beings. It is appalling that such behavior is not only condoned but seemingly encouraged within the military ranks.
