African Soldiers Lured to Russia Face Ukraine’s Deadly Front Lines

These recruits are often lured with promises of employment, bonuses, and citizenship, only to be deployed as disposable manpower on the front lines. Many face brutality, racism, and are used in dangerous “meat assaults,” with little chance of survival or returning home.
