The news of the passing of the world’s oldest conjoined twins, Lori and George Schappell, struck a chord with me. These two individuals led truly unique lives despite the challenges that came with their conjoined status. Unlike many other pairs of conjoined twins, Lori and George were very different in their interests and pursuits. Lori was a skilled bowler, while George pursued a career as a country singer.
