Woman Arrested, 27 Dead Horses Found on Multiple Properties
A woman was arrested in Clements, California after authorities discovered the grim scene of 27 dead horses across multiple properties she owned. The discovery was made during a search warrant execution, part of an ongoing animal neglect investigation conducted by the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office and Animal Services. The sheer number of deceased animals immediately pointed to a severe and prolonged case of animal cruelty.
