As I sit here contemplating the news of locally transmitted dengue fever in Hillsborough County, Florida, my heart goes out to the individual who must endure the agonizing symptoms of this debilitating disease. I vividly recall my own encounter with Dengue fever, and I can attest to the excruciating ordeal it bestows upon its victims. The incessant fever, the chills that wrack your body, the rashes at each joint, the unbearable joint pain – it’s a nightmare that no one should have to endure.
