Harrison Butker’s recent graduation speech at a Christian college has stirred up a wave of outrage, and it’s no surprise why. His misogynistic and backward remarks may have pleased a certain crowd at the college, but the response from the outside world has been overwhelmingly negative. It’s crucial to recognize that just because these bigots are getting attention doesn’t mean they are winning. In fact, the amount of pushback and condemnation his speech has received proves the opposite.
