DOJ: Former FedEx driver sentenced to 6 days in prison for selling guns he stole from packages
As I read through the news about the former FedEx driver who was sentenced to just six days in prison for selling guns he stole from packages, I couldn’t help but feel a mix of shock, frustration, and incredulity. Who goes to prison for only six days? Is this a typo? Isn’t he supposed to be in county jail instead? These questions swirled in my mind as I tried to make sense of the seemingly lenient punishment for such a serious offense.
