Iran Claims US Rescue Mission Was Cover for Uranium Theft

The ministry questioned the stated location of the rescue, suggesting it was distant from the claimed landing area, and proposed the operation was a deception. Iran’s military further claimed the mission was “foiled,” that U.S. aircraft were forced to make emergency landings after being hit, and that downed aircraft were destroyed to prevent capture.
