Tennessee Republicans fight ban on cousins getting married
As a 63-year-old American, I can’t help but shake my head at the latest news coming out of Tennessee. It seems that Tennessee Republicans are fighting a ban on cousins getting married. Yes, you read that correctly. In a time when issues such as gun control, healthcare, and climate change are at the forefront, the GOP in Tennessee is choosing to push for the legalization of marriage between cousins.
The irony here is palpable. These are the same individuals who condemn homosexuality as sinful and immoral, yet they see no issue with allowing cousins to marry. The blatant hypocrisy is astounding.… Continue reading
