The recent news about a US judge blocking the Biden administration’s rule against gender identity discrimination in healthcare is truly disheartening. It’s a stark reminder of the ongoing battle for equal rights and access to healthcare for all individuals, regardless of their gender identity. The fact that discrimination based on gender identity is even up for debate is appalling.
The healthcare system should be a place where every American can receive the care they need without fear of discrimination or bias.
