The group claims Oz’s numerous social media posts promoting iHerb, a company for which he serves as a global advisor, fail to adequately disclose his financial ties. These undisclosed endorsements, across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and X, are argued to be deceptive to consumers. Public Citizen contends that simply including this information in Oz’s bio is insufficient and violates FTC guidelines requiring clear disclosure within each individual post. The FTC has yet to respond.
