Florida Woman Calls 911 Pretending to Order Pizza, Helps Deputies Locate Her Alleged Attacker
A woman being detained in a field in Florida made an emergency call to authorities pretending to order a pizza to alert them of her situation. During the call, she revealed crucial details that enabled deputies to locate her. The captor, Luis Diego Hernandez-Moncayo, was subsequently arrested and charged with attempted sexual battery, battery by strangulation, and false imprisonment. The police department also released body camera footage of the moment deputies reached the scene and arrested Hernandez-Moncayo. The sheriff’s office revealed that Hernandez-Moncayo, an undocumented immigrant, faces an immigration detainer.
