As I sit back and digest the news that Uber and Lyft have agreed to pay drivers $32.50 per hour in a Massachusetts settlement, I can’t help but feel a sense of triumph for workers’ rights. Finally, gig workers who have been tirelessly driving people around have been granted a fair wage that they truly deserve.
