These findings align with other surveys that show deteriorating economic approval ratings for Trump and a broader public belief that the economy is shrinking, influenced by factors such as rising gas prices and geopolitical instability, particularly the Iran war. Despite White House assurances of temporary disruptions and plans for future improvement, public perception suggests a shift in sentiment that may outpace policy outcomes.
