A powerful storm system, spawning multiple large tornadoes, caused widespread devastation across the central US, resulting in at least 21 fatalities in Missouri and Kentucky. The storms, which impacted Missouri, Kentucky, Illinois, and Indiana, damaged countless homes, downed power lines, and left over 700,000 homes and businesses without power.
