Katie Britt is back at it, pushing a bill to launch a pregnancy tracking federal database. The sheer audacity of such a proposition leaves me dumbfounded. Tracking women’s pregnancies? In what world does that make sense? The concept is not only invasive but also reeks of control and surveillance that is reminiscent of dystopian societies. Are we really living in a country where the government wants to monitor the reproductive choices of its citizens? It’s truly alarming to see how far some politicians are willing to go in their quest for power and control.
