Blaming the Jews for government corruption seems to be a classic move in the dictator handbook. Alexander Lukashenko, the Belarusian president, recently made some disturbing comments insinuating a connection between Jews and theft in his government. He even went on to say that more than half of those involved in a corruption case were Jewish. The irony of denying antisemitism while making blatantly antisemitic remarks is not lost on anyone here.

Furious Hungary has summoned the US envoy over President Biden’s ‘dictatorship’ comment, and boy, are they throwing a tantrum. But really, can we blame them? When the shoe fits, the shoe fits. The fact that the Supreme Court is even considering the idea that a president could have absolute immunity is not only shocking but deeply concerning. This case, stemming from the events of January 6th, could set a dangerous precedent that could lead America down the dark road to dictatorship.
The idea that a sitting president could be immune from criminal activity while in office is absurd. If the Supreme Court rules in favor of this notion, it opens up a Pandora’s box of possibilities. - He shared a video that said “the only good Democrat is a dead Democrat.”[1]
- He tweeted a video of a Trump supporter yelling “White power.”[2]
- He tweeted that “when the looting starts the shooting starts.”[3] A saying that is historically tied to a racist Miami police chief from the 60’s.[4]
- Police in Washington, D.C. brutally dispersed an entirely peaceful crowd exercising their first amendment.
