Tragedy at Sea: Brazilian Influencers Die After Refusing Life Jackets for Perfect Selfies
Brazilian influencers Aline Tamara Moreira de Amorim and Beatriz Tavares da Silva Faria drowned after a yacht party off São Paulo’s coast. The women reportedly avoided wearing life jackets due to fears of ruining their tan and selfies. They were among seven people in a speedboat meant to carry five passengers, and died after the overcrowded, life jacket-less boat capsized in choppy waters.
