Trump Pardonee Rearrested on Federal Gun Charges
Daniel Charles Ball, indicted on numerous felony charges for his violent participation in the January 6th Capitol riot, including assaulting officers and deploying an explosive device, had his case dismissed following a presidential pardon. However, this dismissal was short-lived; Ball was arrested the following day on separate federal charges of firearm possession by a convicted felon. These new charges, stemming from prior convictions and unrelated to the riot, are not subject to the presidential pardon.
