Poll: 74% of Israelis oppose counterstrike on Iran if it harms security alliances
In my neighborhood in Tel Aviv, the sentiment among everyone I’ve spoken to is overwhelmingly against a counterstrike on Iran if it will harm our security alliances. The combination of not wanting to endure back-to-back shutdowns, more reservists being called up, and the preference for anyone but Bibi to lead us further into a war is a common belief. It’s clear that the majority of Israelis, myself included, recognize the importance of maintaining our alliances with other countries, especially considering the small size of our own nation.
