It’s mind-boggling to think that a man who crashed his snowmobile into a parked Black Hawk helicopter is now suing the government for $9.5M. As an individual, I strongly believe in personal responsibility and accountability for our actions. The fact that this man was driving recklessly at night under the influence of alcohol is a clear indication of his irresponsibility. The excuses of not expecting a military aircraft on a rarely used airfield are simply absurd. If you hit a stationary object with your vehicle, it’s your fault – plain and simple.
The argument that the crew of the Black Hawk helicopter was negligent for parking on an approved FAA landing strip is flawed.… Continue reading
a film set, the last thing I would want is live rounds anywhere near the set. The idea of using real guns when there are safer alternatives like fake guns and CGI available just does not make sense to me. The safety of everyone on set should be the number one priority, and the presence of live ammunition on a movie set is a recipe for disaster.
The responsibility of ensuring a safe film set rests primarily on the armorer. In the case of the ‘Rust’ tragedy, it is evident that Gutierrez-Reed failed to create a safe environment. Testimonies from the dolly grip, Ross Addiego, shed light on multiple accidental discharges and an overall lack of professionalism in handling the guns on set.… Continue reading
As I read about the former funeral home owner who was arrested after a corpse lay in a hearse for 2 years, my initial reaction was shock and disbelief. How could someone let such a horrifying situation unfold? The fact that the woman’s body was left unattended for such a long period of time is beyond comprehension. It raises serious questions about the lack of regulation in the funeral home industry, particularly in Colorado where this incident took place.
The discovery of 35 cremated remains hoarded around the property only adds to the macabre nature of this case. It boggles the mind to think about the conditions in which these bodies were left, and the lack of respect shown to them and their families.… Continue reading
